nice to meet you.

a little about me…

Hi! I’m Jenn. I’m a marketing and communications professional with over a decades worth of experience working for food, beverage, entertainment, and restaurant brands. From high-level business strategy, brand management, communications, advertising, and executive leadership, I am passionate about making brands stand out from the crowd by creating memorable experiences for consumers. I love creating, listening and asking questions, radical candor, democratic collaborating, and inspiring and empowering others to succeed. Colleagues know me as a highly creative marketer and trendsetter who is passionate, outgoing, and can always be trusted to come up with a new strategic approach.

Honestly, I am fun and work hard. And that’s not even me, people say that. I am energetic, creative and love to learn.

Raised in the Chicago suburbs with an active, healthy lifestyle and packed social calendar, I participated in every sport and group I could. During college, I flourished as a social butterfly and active Greek life participant and organizer, and landed my first bartending gig, which also turned me on to event planning and hospitality. I founded a student organization College Fashion Week—with more than 100 members and dozens of events—then led ski-tour groups of more than 500 before becoming event manager for a collection of four campus bars.

Although I entered school studying food science, I left as a communications major, pursuing my love for food and drink from a different angle. After earning my bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign in 2012 (GO ILLINI!), I held out for the perfect job—meanwhile bartending at Tavernita and Barcito in Chicago, bolstering my mixology skills—and found it when Mercadito Hospitality promoted me from behind the bar to behind the desk as its marketing manager. In helping Mercadito open new concepts, Marketing Director Natalie Levine mentored me and instilled lifelong marketing lessons I took with me to Savor, a Chicago-area food marketing firm, and beyond.

Kicking off the New Year in a new state, I began working at ViewHouse and Lotus Concepts Management in Denver, Colorado in January 2015 as its social media and digital marketing manager, quickly rising to the challenges of marketing over 30,000-square-feet of restaurant, bar, and event space between the Ballpark, Centennial, Littleton, and Colorado Springs locations. Within 1.5 years, my impassioned dedication to create and lead earned me a promotion to marketing director. Since then, I helped to rebrand and re-launch the food and beverage menus, recruit top talent, improve company culture, and implement more marketing initiatives, events, and programs than ever before.

In early 2021, I accepted a new marketing director role at SPB Hospitality - a leading operator and franchiser of steakhouses, pizza, and craft beer focused dining across the U.S. overseeing the brand management of seven hospitality concepts with dozens of locations nationwide. Working remotely and traveling frequently, I have proudly contributed to new concept branding, food and beverage menu innovation, and launching many innovative campaigns that have led to increased traffic and sales.

In 2022, I landed my dream position as Vice President of Marketing for Salad Collective, overseeing marketing strategies for brands like MAD Greens, Snappy Salads, and Tokyo Joe’s based out of Golden, Colorado. I am dedicated to driving brand success through creativity, leadership, and continuous learning. In my current role, I collaborate with all departments, ensuring brand consistency and exceptional customer experiences, spanning areas such as advertising, local store marketing, digital and social media, third-party delivery partnerships, customer relations, loyalty programs, environmental design, franchise marketing, and culinary innovations.

I spend my free time in Colorado’s great outdoors—skiing, hiking, camping, and picnicking with homemade charcuterie boards—or traveling to new cities to glean inspiration from bars, restaurants, and design-forward venues. I love reading non-fiction books or listening to podcasts, as well as honing my own cooking skills at my mountain home in Coal Creek Canyon.
